2020 D quarter salt river bay error??

    Hi i just came across this quarter. Trying to get advice on damage or ??. That spin around middle or head caught my eye.

    Hey Todd. Welcome aboard first of all !
    Secondly I'm sad to say your quarter is damaged . :(
    I've seen this several times just this year and just don't know what it's from . Maybe a coin rolling machine or something else OUTSIDE the mint. Some call it PMD or post mint damage.

    Yep, PMD. I believe someone posted, on a post long ago, that some machines that take coins will do that. In any case, it certainly isn't anything that came from the mint like that, so no error. NAV, no added value, just a damaged coin. Spender.
