I just pulled this 2019 D Mariana Island quarter out of a Mint Roll. looks like a Grease Strike causing the "it" in the word United to be missing. What do you guys think is this a keeper. Will there be any value to it other than just .25

Welcome to Coin Talk. Your coin looks to be struck through debris.
    Good coin for an example.

Alurid...in your opinion, what kind of debris might cause that type of damage? One thing I see (which means nothing) is it looks like the bottom of the “I” was sitting lower than the “N”, had it been a good strike. Thanks for teaching us newbies!

It's known as a greaser. It's common and was struck through grease or other debris or dirt on the Die. Only worth face value.

The Quarter is a 2019. It was released about 2 months ago, if that. It hasn't had a chance to circulate enough to show wear. It does have a small amount of damage from taking hits. Probably bag marks. Nice to plug a hole in a cheap album but never worth more than $.25.

    Welcome to CT.

+1 greaser. Would be interesting if the grease is on the reverse side.
