2018 Penny

Searching through my pocket change and found this penny. Looked like it had scratches on it, nothing new.. Took it to a friend with a Microscope and noticed the marks seem to be made at the same time as the coin. The Letter "Y" is on top of the mark and the lines of the mark change with the couture changes of Lincoln.
Let me know what you guys think.

Not An errors guy but this one interests me. I want to see what the guys in the know think.

 

I'm no error expert but IMO it appears to be a plating issue I don't believe something was spilled on the coin.

Let see what other's think when they have time.

Could be plating.. or an issue with the material it was stamped on. I have been searching online for a while. I have not seen another 2018 cent that has this issue.

 

Well I haven't seen one at all like that doesn't mean there isn't I just haven't seen it I'm sorry I wasn't more help.
