    Yes to Ridge Ring..
    Common issue on Copper plated zinc cents. Yours is an early worn die issue. Nothing major.

    Basically, it illustrates the Mints’ intention toward these crappy coins since their inception in 1982...they’re business strikes produced for commerce that are made poorly in the first place...the Mint doesn’t care about their quality and thinks no one cares about them and ends up overusing the dies...and they are right, they are worthless. Every single DDD/Ridge ring I find like this goes straight back to circulation. In fact, I am struggling to find a reason why I started keeping any Zincolns to begin with...jmho...Spark

    I agree, there does not seem to be the same detail as the Lincoln memorial cents even when they have the almost mirror shine showing on a business strike.
