Ear we go again...not sure if this is even a thing for this date/mm ,but...I'll be the one to try my luck and see if it sticks. What do you guys think? Nvm the clash marks,that ear looks suspicious

IDK. You need much clearer pictures of your coin to convince me. Clashes are notoriously hard to photograph. Try taking a picture with the light source at an angle. Some times that helps highlight the clash. Here are a couple of mine. I have yet to find a shield clash.
I am no expert,altho I do get the general idea. The new 2018 ear variety looks no different and it has been attributed ,I must be missing something.
Do you have a link for this 2018 doubled year you are talking about? I've not seen it and I can't find one on variety vista or copper coins.
Looks normal to me but I'm on drugs at the moment. Everything looks normal. Edited due to double post
That's because the mint makes hundreds of millions of them out of zinc. They are easily scratched and damaged.
