    Hello all!

It’s too confusing! PCGS shows 12 different varieties of 2017-W American Eagle Silver (all proof?) dollars (indicating that they were released as part of a hoard of West Point mint coins in 2020, e.g.: PCGS #824365 and 11 others). I believe I’m seeing a mintage of 18,065,050 for all 2017-W dollars. Does anyone know how many 2017-W dollars were released as part of the hoard in 2020? Is it worth to pay a premium for those coins compared to those West Point dollars that were originally issued in 2017? Also, is it worth a premium for coins having different TGS labels, e.g.: different signatures like Mercanti vs. Jim Peet, or Cleveland Torch vs. Cleveland Minuteman vs. Gold Foil labels, etc. Do any of these varieties have a better strike? Would you need one of each variety to complete a series? Thanks for any information you can provide regarding mintages of these varieties and which might be considered rarer than others.

The only difference is the label on the slab (except for the 2017 W burnished or the 201 W proof if they had one.) All the rest I believe are just regular bullion coins with novelty labels.
