2017 US 1 dollar bill

Has anyone gotten these yet?

I was very surprised to get one today, and didn't even know that the US made 2017 1 dollar bills.

I was just curious if they're rare, or if they're spread out all over the US by now?

I bought a cut sheet of 5 from the BEP. nice bills.

 

They're turning up here and there around the country but not as fast as one would expect by now. I've not seen one yet and I go through a lot of dollar bills. It's been observed that the government has an excess stockpile of notes in its inventories and that this has resulted in new notes being produced and dispersed more slowly than usual.

Not rare, just new to circulation as they are just being released.

 

I agree with the above comments.

October will mark one year since the release of the series 2017 one dollar note. Everyone will see more and more of these as time goes by.
