2017 Quarter error???

    I'm trying to find out if the circled areas of these quarters are errors or what??? Just started collecting and I don't have a whole lot of knowledge yet....still learning...TIA...have a great day! PhotoGrid_1544803437170.jpg

    Looks like a 'struck thru' error -

    Probably machine grease/oil on
    the dies, giving it that 'textured'
    look you see.

    Fairly common, but good eyes to see it! Congrats.

    Cool...does it have any real value other than a good collector coin?

    Maybe a few dollars if you find that interested collector
    who wants an example.

    Remember, if you can find one, so can others, and because
    they occur on all State/Park Quarters, they're considered
    minor (unless the surface disruption is dramatic, like 1/3rd
    of the surfaces) errors - yes, collectable, but not much in
    premium.
