Greetings I took three pictures of three different 2017 Ellis Island I just posted the reverse look at the three pictures of the lady's mouth the third pick her mouth is open now I kind of detect I'll hit might have taken place because her bottom lip looks like it was moved if that's the case how would it open the mouth? My bad I took pictures of the obverse too
It is your 2nd pic not the third. If you look closely at the three pics you will see that the 2nd one no longer has crisp edges to the devices. From this I suspect that it is a strike from a deteriorating die which has resulted in a die chip on her lip area.
Yep, a fortuitous hit in just the right spot. What a hoot. I'd certainly keep it, labeling it: She never stops talking. LOL
The first and third photos are normal. It’s the second one that took a well placed hit on the mouth. Kinda neat do for twenty-five cents I’d keep it.
