    I thought if both sides are misaligned it's off center? Is this not factual information? Thanks for quick reply

    Unfortunately, it is not that easy for a coin to be called an off-center. Some of the coin design has to be missing. Here is an example. The upper part of the words "Maryland" is missing from the coin. This coin is an off-center error. 10% off-center to be exact.

    For your NP quarter. All the coin design is still there, so it’s just a MAD.

    It is less common to occur but there can be a Dual Misaligned Die strike.
