I do not usually share finds from other forums, but I thought this one people might want to know about. Especially if you collect Canadian quarters. There seems to be a new 2017 Canada 25 cent mule coin found. A new member came on another site to ask about this coin he found. The member showed photos of both sides as well as a photo with a mirror so we could see both sides of said coin in one photo. This seems legit folks. It has a lot of members from the other forum looking hard for another one. We are thinking this is a 2016 Obverse with a 2017 reverse. But it could possibly be the 2017 Caribou obverse with this reverse. Here is what the Mule looks like. I had to find photos and put em together to make this. THIS IS NOT THE ACTUAL COIN FOUND! The 2017 Canada 25 cents with this reverse is not supposed to have that mark under the queen on the obverse and it is not supposed to have the dots around the edge on the obverse either. Now let's start the hunt for another one. If there is one there has to be more!!!
Yes the 2017 with this reverse is supposed to have the maple leaf privy mark and no dots on the obverse. The 2017 25 cents coins with this obverse and privy mark are supposed to have the caribou reverse and were only release in mints sets i believe Here is a link to what this coin should look like. Only not colored. https://coinscatalog.net/canada/coi...f-canada-bird-turtle-beaver-circulation-coins
