Searching through my stuff I found 2 of these. One has no issues and the second has what appears to be a hairline crack to the left of the 2016 that doesn't appear on the other. Starts where the line straightens over 2016 and continues to the rim. Not sure if this is an error or wear so I can to my collecting friends to see. Eric
It might be a die crack, but I'd need a better close-up to be sure. Small die cracks are very common for almost all denominations and are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them. Chris
if you would have put the magnifying glass down and gave the quarter a quarter turn and then picked up the magnifying glass you would have a perfect pics
Don't let the snarky comments get to you. Sometimes people forget what it was like to be a new collector. Can't add anything to Chris' comment above. Sounds like you found an area that interests you. The longer you stay with it, the more you'll learn
i'm just saying it's a lot easier to help identify and answer peoples questions accurately if we are able to see it in a better perspective. personally to me it looks like PMD. a nice little gouge in it from this angle
Roosevelt Quarter? Don't you mean Washington Quarter! ***EDIT Oh sorry Roosevelt National Park.. Oops
You guys are great. We use to give and take crap like this back and forth when I was still in the Marine Corps. Fun times and I always missing it. I plan on being in this hobby for a long time.
