Found this in change today, it has the doubling of Wexlers WDDR-007 but not the die break below the GA in GAP, is this just a different stage of the doubling?
@TheHoff It could be an early die state (EDS). Does the Wexler listing provide a die state for the discovery coin? You might want to send your coin to him to update the attribution. Chris
There is no die states listed yet. I've never sent a coin in for attribution before and don't want to look like an idiot, what is the process for this? He has a lot of guidelines listed and it looks confusing for the first timer, any help would be appreciated. Dan
Honestly, I've never sent a coin to him, either. So, the only thing I can suggest is that you contact him (by e-mail?) and provide photos with an explanation. If he feels that your coin is an earlier die state than his plate photo, he might ask that you send it to him for examination. Chris
