I finally got a Lincoln Cent Doubled Die, and it is one I can easily see!! A friend found a few of these when CRH. When he offered to give some away i signed up as I didn't have a DD on my Lincoln Lent error/variety page. I believe this is also listed on Variety Vista as 2015 1c DDO-001 (Stage A) The next close-ups aren't the greatest, but you can see the spread in the date, on Liberty (Especially the TY), and in IGWT. Best seen on the UST of Trust The date shows a bigger spread in hand this was hard to get a shot of w/o washing it out with glare. I am calling it Stage A due to it missing the die chip under the 0 of the Date and it does not have the die chip above the shield on the reverse either. Thanks for looking...Mont
The crack is coming off the zero . How about a image of where the die crack is coming off of the shield . Looks more like stage C .
OOPs I didn't even see that. I will Take a close-up of the reverse for ya and post it some time today. The die crack under the O is part of stage 2. If it has the die chip on the reverse that would make it Stage 3. I was pretty tired last night when posting. Kinda embarrassed I missed the crack. Gonna be really embarrassed if the die chip is on the reverse too. It means I need new eyes.
Thanks P&G! However I didn't find this one. A friend from another site found a few of them while CRH. When he offered to give some of these away I jumped on one. I live in Montana. The only Philly coins we see here come from tourists and are usually really beat up. He also gave away some 2015 WDDR-006s and some 1998 and 2000 WAMS.
Here ya go Unless I am blind. This is a Stage B? No Chip on reverse. Also took another crack at shooting the date. I think this one may show the doubling better...especially in the 15
