I came across a 2015 penny with what was called a split die error across the obverse on the coin. can any one tell me the value and how many errors have been found? Sorry no Pics.
Without pictures to me its just a normal cent with no errors and most likely damage(value one cent and billions of them have been foundhttp://www.error-ref.com/median-bisecting-split-die/.
There is a picture of the same error coin on ebay for sale. I have no way to send pics. A split die error is what it was listed with pics on the ebay site. The penny in question matches the one in the picture.
Without pictures the coin doesn't exist, mabey someone else can telepathically see your coin i can't and don't care if someone has the same exact one on ebay its not yours!!!.
You could at least post the link to the page in question so we can at least see what you are referring to. There are a lot of "errors" on ebay that only exist in the imagination of the seller
is this the one you are referring to? Link Noting that it is a graded coin, so authenticated by PCGS, makes a difference. Without seeing your coin, I would venture to guess you have a split platting issue, worth nothing, but if you can provide good, in focus, photos, I could be proven wrong. Good luck.
