Is anyone buying/bidding on any Notes this year ? I am looking at a few pieces, this auction bring's out the best of Note's so you better bring your wallet.
I sold two notes at the FUN Show, both to the same dealer. One was a small size $500 note in AU and the other a brown back second charter National from Milwaukee Wisconsin. I was pleased with what I got without having to pay a sellers fee through an auction house. In my case, I made some money on each.
Both are high demand notes. A real AU $500 is worth over $900 and the Wisconsin brownback is easy to look up in auction archives.
I won this note in the Heritage Signature Auction held Friday. I picked the note up at FUN in Orlando the following day. I have been looking for a GEM example of this note for over 2 years.
