Heritage is lining up the notes to be auctioned off, time to roll out the bank roll. Over 250 large & small gold certificates ~ very nice selection of currency. Over 1200 large size notes listed Sometimes at these Heritage large auctions though people tend to bid prices up a little to high.
Collectors with deep pockets participate in these auctions going after ultra rarities. Mid range notes under $1,000 can still be obtained at bargain prices if there's enough to go around, effectively avoiding bidding wars. If there are that many gold certificates, you can probably pick some up for cheap.
Ahhh the "Key" word ~ avoid the bidding wars. I am perfectly happy with large size notes in the 35 to 50 range at this point in my collecting, let's hope the big guy's let a few slip buy.
