    The term “Trinary” is eBay hype. You won’t see the word trinary used in an auction description from Heritage, Stacks or Spink....just eBay, where the seller writes their own description.

    He means that they're worthless and most serious not collectors do not bother with them.

    I agree they are not worth a premium. But they don't cost anything because you can pull them out of circulation, and are fun to collect. Try to put a bank series together. I have 30+ that I have received in change over the years. I also collect binaries out of circulation. Just for fun.

    UTube is full of useless information. Yes it's a trinary note but they are only worth face value. Nothing special about them.

    Nothing wrong with that. I’m envious of anyone working in retail, or otherwise, that handles a lot of cash.
