The latest edition (67th) of the Charlton Standard Catalogue of Canadian Coins is now out. I picked up a copy today. Lots of varieties from previous editions' variety sections have moved to the front, main, section of the catalogue. Some newly discovered varieties have also been added (e.g., 5c 1858 5/5 and 2010 14 denticle Two Dollar coin). That means that most major TPG companies should comment on those varieties on the certificate (although I doubt these changes will be seen in the registry sets). The variety section at the back of the Catalogue this year is on nickel dollars. Most collectors of Canadian dollars stop their collection in 1967, despite the continuation of the voyageur design until 1986. Hopefully, the low mintages, grade rarities and now a variety catalogue might breath some love into that series. http://www.charltonpress.com/NumismaticsBook.asp?v_ISBN=9780889683549
