Star notes (12345678*) are replacement notes for damaged currency sheets. they are used for counting purposes.
right I know that for today and some years back. but at the end of this SN there is a weird thing at the end and it does not look like a letter or a star. so I was asking if that "thingy" is what USED to be used instead of a star and then later changed? in other words what is the darn thing the arrows are pointing to
