    always cool to find an S in circulation! Is it just me ......or do I see flashes of rainbow colors on that coin?

    2012 had some of the lower mintage Philly and Denver quarters but some of the higher mintage business strike San Frans. 1,679,240 for your coin. I guess that's because it was the first year of them minting the business strikes.

    Yes it is a high mintage number, but at my age it doesn't take much to get me excited!!! LOL

    Oh definitely a great find. I love finding "S" business strikes. Not sure I've found an El Yunque yet. It is one of my favorite National Parks designs.
