2012 Unique Error

    So I was going through a box of coins and I was just about to toss aside a 2012 with what appeared to have after mint damage when I noticed that there was lettering from a 2008 or older reverse on the obverse that said "Ce" and "C" near different edges in the font of One Cent and the reverse said "In God we trust." I've never seen anything like it and I've been looking for an explanation.

    Oh ok. Yeah I kind of figured but I didn't really know for sure. It makes sense though because that would never get out of the mint due to the tech they installed in 2003

    Also, look at the letters. They are reversed. Because the coin was squeezed with a LMC, producing a reverse image in your shield cent.
