2012 penny error?

    Hello guys! I recently came across this 2012 penny coin roll hunting. Of course it stood right away. It feels lighter then a normal 2012 penny. Its not as think as a regular penny. It looks like the die didn't cover the whole penny. Can anyone help?

    damaged.. looks like a dryer coin, it spent some time spinning in a dryer which wore down the high points...
