Can anyone tell me if this is an error? I just got my 2011 Silver Poof Set from the US mint and was looking at the Olympia quarter. It looks like there is a die crack that begins at the edge of the coin between the letters T and O in Washington and another right above the 2 in 2011 and continues diagonally up to the deer's chest. Should I keep this set or contact the mint and have it replaced?
It's entirely up to you . Some photo's would be nice . Even if it were a die imperfection , I don't believe it would add any significant value to the coin or set . At $72.00 a pop , I would seriously consider returning it , unless you have another $72.00 to throw into the pot.
