Happened to see this penny in my drawer at work today and thought it was weird that it didn't have the usual 2010 shine to it. Looks like it's been around for 30 years, probably not an error but what's up with it? Just another science experiment? Thanks for any info.
Or it may have been dipped or someone tried and failed to remove the plating. But they do turn UGLY quickly in circulation.
