I'm a collector of all things Olympics, and I was hoping some coin experts could help me out with this one.

As part of the collector Canadian quarters issued for the 2010 Vancouver games, there were apparently some errors were the Olympic logo was used instead of the Paralympic logo.

Does anyone know how many such coins were produced, and what their collector value is?

    thanks

I remember reading about a mule that was released. I don't recall the specifics. Sorry.

    thanks for the replies.

Does anyone know if there are any online guides available that might list value and scarcity?

There were two mules. The first was the wheelchair curling that had the regular olympic obverse. It was issued in mint sets, of which 30,000 were made (but only 22,000 were released before the error was caught), and the number of mules is unknown, but could be (but probably not likely) in the thousands. The market drove the price of these up to around $000, but it seems to have settled around $25.

The second mule was the Alpine Skiing quarter, that should be dated 2007, but was released with the date 2008. These were only found on the colourized quarters that were sold at Petro Canada locations. These are worth around $30 each.

Nobody knows how many there really are, and their value is still subject to the market, but here's some reading material for you:
