Hello All, I recently ordered a box of the 2010 Native American dollar coins from the direct ship program. All the rolls in the box were minted at the Denver mint. Of all the people on this forum that have also ordered the 2010 coins from the direct ship program I am wondering where your coins were minted. Maybe together we can figure out some kind of pattern to the distribution of these coins! The easiest way to find out where all the coins are coming from is to create a poll. I'll try and post one with this thread (this is my first time). Let's see where these coins are coming from!
Just a guess here (mind you, no experience). West of the Mississippi, Denver. East of the Mississippi, Philadelphia.
i received "D" mintmark coins mint marks on direct shipped dollar coins have no bearing on where you live example - i live in NY and most of the time i get "D" mintmarks. so when i spend these and someone discovers its a "D" on the east coast- thinking that someone from the west coast brought it over to the east coast. The answer would be "Not Really !! " because i would be the 1st to spend them.
Hunh . . . . I thought might was "P" but I need to go back and check. (And, if I was wrong, is there a way to change one's vote?)
I got my shipment and they are D's so far (I've only searched 2 rolls). I expect the rest to be D because I don't think they send mixed rolls. In my search so far, the grades vary between 64 and 66, no noticeable varieties. Nice strikes. Beautiful coins... I just wish I can get an elusive 67 or 68 to grade.
How can I change my vote? I thought I got P -- but I didn't -- I got D. I need to change my vote from P to D. Wait, I thought you were talking east/west?
