    got this coin in change, not sure what is on the head , to me it looks like a hat or boat?

    The coin is stained.... environmental damage. I see what you are talking "aboat" on his head, but the stain is just lighter there.

    LOL. Agreed, though in my case it's a passenger car.

    That's just a yucky stained quarter. Spend it.

    thanks, for you guys input. will keep on trying,maybe on day i'll get a good fine I thought my 1883 no cent v nickle was a good find?
