2010 lincoln shield double die

    Have you seen this coin yet, up close ? There is one that is certified on ebay, but no close up !

    you cant even make out the double die, the angle of picture and size keeps you from see the double die.

    Why does ANACS slab a DD Obverse with the reverse showing and not the DD, which is then upside down? Want to bet as to whether PCGS or NGC would slab it?

    I guess we will find out in short time if these are going to be a craze. The amount of these that surface will be a key factor as to whether they will bring a substantial premium or not. I'd really like to see a good picture though.
     
  6. I have heard that the doubling is minor but still may get people motivated to search. I want to see a clear pic though. TC

    I would like to see one up-close as well. I hope that they end up being a good double die ! :loud:

    You know what that looks like,one of those Late night T.V. specials,he prob paid like 90 or 100 for it,and is trying to cash in,before people realize its a dud....

    I'll hop on the bandwagon if and only if it has the obvious doudling like the 1955 Lincoln... and I ain't gonna hold my breath!!!

    :headbang:This double die is a joke, punch in 2010 lincoln double die on your computer. This should bring you to a site that shows a picture, somebody is smoking something ! :loud: I thought it might be a nice double die, but no way. Not in my book ! :desk:

    So, it's about as exciting as the "poor man's doubled die" I'm guessing. Keep your eyes on ebay to see what fools are willing to spend on these.
