Does anyone know when the 2009 uncirculated mint sets will be available from the mint?

I ordered 2 sets this morning. I think they'll be great additions to my collection.

No -- they were $22.95 last year.

It will contain the only cents from the Philly and Denver mints with 95% copper. I don't usually buy this set but I may buy it this year for that reason alone.

it added 10 coin this year. 8 cent and 2 quarter. that is why the price is higher.

Do they still have that satin finish? Is that finish different from the uncirulated rolls?

i may buy some mint unc set. but i will combined it with lincoln chronicle set, virgin island rolls, lincoln formative years rolls, lincoln proof set, silver proof set and van buren 250 coin box. this way i safe a lot of shipping charges. in fact van buren is free of shipping fee. finally. the last three months. i still have lincoln presidency rolls, marianas islands rolls, some spouses gold, UHR double eagle, am buffalo 1 oz proof gold to think about it. and also don't forget the am eagle proof silver and (w) unc silver eagle.

I subscribed awhile back and just right checked and found my orders have been charged. So maybe in a week them be in my hands. I didn't read the latest post above so I'm going to say this year's UNC set will be a sellout.

  18. I wish they were just collections of the various issues from the two mints, and not satin finished. If they were, I would buy two sets, one to leave in the package and one to open, and put the coins into my cases for year sets. But, since they satin them, I don't order any. Good luck to those of you who do order them!

do not hope too much on 2009 mint set. 2008 clad, silver proof set and mint unc set are the winners. that's it.

    Why do you discriminate?

I only use these in my albums ...much better quality than circulation strikes.

I hate to disagree with you Elaine, but I think that 2009 will eventually become the big year. The silver, clad, and unc sets are sure to be low volume because of this depression (oh, sorry, recession) that we're in. They will eventually become hotter than the 2008 sets. I won't mind them increasing in value too since I got a bunch of them.
