Hello all again an hope all well with all the coin talk persons out ther tonight. As I have done sence I found this site (look @ each coin I recive now) looking at some pennys an found this odd one. Have not found it in any error post, an this is a BU lightly used. I saw a roundish something in the second floor window and wanted to know what you all think. My Wife finds me so funny, when we startted it was just to colect gold & silve for when we get older but now I see the beauty in this coinage stuff. As well enjoy looking back at what has been posted. As always enjoyed an look forward to any replys. BE WELL
I haven't see any doubling that far from die center on the LP3 series, but that doesn't mean it can't happen, and I see what you are talking about. Could be a gouge, plating, or doubling. You might send it off to one of the attributors.
I always wondered who Lincoln was waving at. Very keen eye for detail bikerbob. These zinc coins can create all kinds of interesting theories.
