2009 Polk Proof Error anyone have an idea what the value of this might be? It has a finned rim, a chipped rim and a foriegn piece of metal stamped in the face of liberty, all on the reverse of a Polk presidential dollar in my silver proof set.
The picture of the reverse doesn't look like another strip of metal across Liberty's face, looks like it was scratched during packaging and slipped passed the QC inspection, or maybe a something with the die. The two marks on the rim you mentioned look like careless handling to me.
