    Looks legit. Wouldn't know it's perceived value. Submit for attribution and see what happens

    It looks good. I see what also looks like some MD (machine doubling) on the nose, letter 'Y' and ear.

    thanks

    I think most of the mayor error are coming out of US Mint roll.
    that may make the bank roll coin go up in price one day????
    mainly because most of the US Mint roll won't be opened:thumb:

    I am thinking about putting this coin up for auction. What do you guys think? I really need the cash, but I would hate to see it sell for next to nothing. To much of a gamble? Has anyone else found one?

    Because the dangerous FLU is around, my recomendation for every body is that. "Don't put your hands too much on circulate coins". Check new ones from Bank rolls o from the mint. and good luck every body. Wishing you good health.

    Machine doubled. Check the direction of the doubling. All doubling is is in the same direction and shelf like from what I see. rotate the coin and look at the other direction.

    I agree with coop, its not a doubled die.

    I think this is what he's looking at as a DDO;

    Why ask why :mouth: joke
    I guess it could be both.
    I really can not tell from the photos.

    Taking a second look, I agree with Jello. It could be something in that area. The coin would need to have images in several directions. It could be a doubled ear or it could be a water spot. There is one (water spot) also behind the neck. But something to watch for on other coins. The three DDO's for this year doesn't have anything in that location. There could be some activity of a die clash in that area. Do you have more than one of these? That also could be a make or breaker. I will watch out for these in my searches. So more images rotated at different angles to show if that area is raised or not would help.

    Is this what you are agreeing with coop?

    Rock Dude: No this statement. From the image it could be something or nothing. Just hard to tell. But I appreciate you comment about the area in question. I was looking at something else and missed the area in question.

    There are a lot of good eggs here.

    I would say it's a doubled ear the image is raised it;s not machine doubling ,but as Rock said there's machine doubling on the nose and you can have a doubled die and machine doubling they can coexist on the same coin. I have a Ike dollar with die deterioration and a doubled die
    Nice find indeed.
