I looked at the picture on eBay and it looks like the thumb is too long and possibly a shadow behind it. Does anyone know anything about this??

There are several "extra finger' varieties, I've seen at least 8. Some are just die chips, not doubled dies. Do a search on ebay and you can see lots of different ones.

I just checked, there seem to be 9 different dd varieties, along with a multitude of die chip 'fingers'.

I've been going thru one box of LP2 that I open out of curiosity. Lowered the value of the box by opening it so decided to start looking for errors. Most of the ones I have found are out of Philly, haven't looked to hard at the Denver roll yet, and there are a bunch of cuts in them all. Guess they are called "die cracks". Now my dilemma is how to get pictures of em to post and see what they really are, maybe even if they are of any value! Can't get any good pix with my little digital but adding close-up lenses to my DSLR seems to work better. Lighting is my quandry now. Flash doesn't work, direct sun doesn't either and free-hand isn't a good idea either. Guess I'll take the tripod and DSLR to the garage and see what I get. Then I have to post a picture here. Good thing I'm not working, huh?
