If you're thinking PMD like i was at first even the ones graded by PCGS have edge lettering that look like this coin.
It is just weak edge lettering. This would be something to look at before purchasing a coin like this. If one were cherrypicking, he/she would avoid this coin because the edge lettering is not sharp. If it was totally missing, that would be a different story.
The only requirement that PCGS has for the Weak Edge Lettering coins is that part of "any" numeral or letter needs to be missing. The missing part cannot be the result of damage to the letering. However, this is not to say that one letter is the result of damage but there are other letters on the coin that are missing parts that are NOT due to damage. In this case, the coin would get the WEL error designation. IF an entire letter of numeral is missing, then "weak" becomes "partial". At the very minimum, it appears that the lower leg of the "P" is missing on the OP's coin. As such: Weak Edge Lettering. I'm not really sure about the 2 and the 9 though.

Cost and actual sales prices usually tends to differ (check out the "completed listings" to see if any actually sold for anything close to that). I had a Presidential dollar with slightly weaker edge lettering (and it was a lower grade), I got $10 plus shipping... I was rather pleased with that. When it comes to profit margins, I see it as the hassle factor/cost in light of the return on investment. Opening bid of $19.95 with $2 for shipping will cost you nothing more than the price of the coin and may score you some quick cash. Getting it graded forces you to sell higher than one might be willing to spend. Just one man's opinion.
