Maybe I am wrong, this is the year that called for low mint, wondering if they changed the metal that year for dollar coins. If not. How do you tell if this is plated with silver?
Oh ya. i think it would be impossible to have off metal cause of the mixture of metals would go over the planchet I would assume
I found these for sale on a website.. They use the fancy term Gold Enriched and Silver Enriched.. that just means plated
