I understand these are rare. I come across them occasionally at work. Is there really a market for these? I will start saving them if there is. I don't like the current nickel and don't collect them, but I'd happily trade them for other coins.
With a manage of nearly forty million in Philadelphia and nearly forty seven million in Denver, I would hardly consider the 2009 nickels to be rare. The mintage is much smaller than the average of nearly ten times the number though.
