I found two ms67 and 8 ms 66 out of the first 4 rolls I looked at. I could not believe it when pcgs sent me my order details. I have one more from the 5th roll that is as good as the best from the last 10 I sent into PCGS.:hammer:
Congrats on your finds. I have a feeling though that the really toughies will be the MS 68s and 69s. Good luck.
I've got two rolls of these. What does a person look for, in trying to determine whether he has something on his hands worth the trouble and expense of professional grading and encapsulating? How do you know?
After doing some reading of the latest Coin World, it appears that the MS67 are the big ones. Neither PCGS nor NGC have graded anything higher.....not yet anyway. So who will be the lucky winner with that 68?
PCGS Ms-67 is a rare one. I have not seen a NGC MS-68 yet but I been told there 12 so far but I do not have a picture or a link to add
I used a microscope at 4 and 6 times power and found coins with one or less contact mark for both sides and no rinse spots at all. Most of the coins had rinse marks and many contact marks so they were not submitted. My wife will have them on ebay later today Under Sellit4less-2000. Wish me luck. These are my first big find and only after looking in 4 rolls.
I have another coin that is better than the 10 I graded. I am just waiting to find a few more then submit them.
There are no 68's in PCGS.......yet. MS67 is the TOP POP !!!!!! PCGS MS67 "D" = 35 "P" = 13 I have 5 at PCGS being graded now. I have more ready to send including the first MS68.....1 tiny spot on the obverse, reverse is perfect....:high5:
Chief I wish you luck on your 68's... And bigeye2k, nice finds, glad you got a 67... That is $500 right there!
