I was going through my coin jar and i noticed the new 2009 Lincoln Penny. I have 2 log cabin models. I took a closer look at one of then and found a line or a crack above the second "U" in "UNUM". I will try to post a picture but if you have any information please let me know if it's rare or nothing to special. Thank you, ~Aging Wonders
Welcome to Coin Talk! We would have to see it to be sure, but it's either a die crack/gouge or a die polish line. Either way, very common, so no premium attached to it. Do some research on die cracks and you'll get an idea of how big they need to be before people become interested in them. Always fun to find interesting die markers though!
ok thank you so much, it's not very big and just under the cabin and above the "U". And yeah i was pretty excited when i found it but even if it's not rare it is still cool and thank you for welcoming me i appreciate it. =]
