found this one today. from the middle on Lincoln's left hand, there is an indention. It is not as clear on my pics..but I still have a lot to learn about my new camera. The clearest picture is the one furthest away.
Michelle, I can't really tell from the photo, but if I'm seeing what I think you might be alluding to, you might have one of the doubled-dies. Does it look anything like either of these? http://www.lincolncentresource.com/Featured/2009ddr.html
I would definitely need a better picture and a better description of what you are looking at. I see a small "ding" on the thumb and forefinger that is a mark left by another coin. In any case, a better picture might help Thanks, Michelle... Bill
you have to be patient. Many folks look but if they have no opinion or can not tell they don't say anything.
From what i can tell this is NOT one of the double dies. I've done a lot of research and a lot of searching on this topic trying to find some myself. I have found two of the die breaks on the farthest window for the 3rd one and a few die cracks. The die cracks at this point seem to be pretty common though. Along with die clashes in the 2nd and 3rd. Get a clearer picture and we can tell for sure.
