Yes I have found all of the first three released in circulation in
South West Michigan. The most recent one released (LP3) I have been getting back in change at a local Speedway gas station.

I have only found an LP2 thus far...but they are out there and are going to become a lot more common.

I got the log cabin and the rail splitter back in change at the supermarket last saturday. They were both very shiny, not a ding on them, I still have not found the 2009 nickel or dime in change yet

The fourth hasn't been released as of yet.

I've found rolls of each and singles in change of each.

Need P rolls of LP3, though....

I still have not seen one in Maine..That because we are a (backward) backwoods state.

And only 50 miles east of Stewart I have only found 4 of the 2009 cents in circulation. Found 3 LP1 with D mintmark, and 1 LP2 from Philadelphia mint. I have not found any nickels or dimes or quarters from 2009 in circulation here.

I haven't encountered a single one (Northern and Central NJ) and I haven't found a bank that has them, either.

  12. There is a definifitive shortage in the northeast. My mom's best friend is a banker, and she cannot get them. I have all but the third version's Denver issue, which I was able to aquire from other collectors. I decided that I would take that route instead of wait for them to circulate their way up here, because by the time they do, they probably won't look very good at all!

There are 4 different Lincoln cent designs this year. The first three have been released. They are being referred to as LP1, LP2, LP3 and LP4 in order of when they were released.

And to answer the original question, yes I have gotten the first 3 out of circulation. People in some parts of the country are not finding any 2009 coins though.
