hello i was just wondering if anyone knew the full scoop on 2009 dimes and nickels i heard that because of the economy they quit making em must be true i havent seen any i would appreciate any thoughts on the matter thank you.
I haven't seen any either but that doesn't mean they have stopped making them. In fact Denver has made Nickels in June and in July they made another 6.9 million making the total around 46.8 million. Dimes have not been made during this period. The economy is not the driving factor but rather supply and demand.
2008-P&D are also hard to find in a Bu bank roll & Now 2009-P&D be 2 good years to find and put back:kewl:
it looks like both mints have stopped making them back in March except for the short spurt of 6.9m nickels made last month in Denver. i thought i heard that Puerto Rico got a good supply of some of these ?? but i'll never really know. Does any know what areas have received these ?
I have been looking for a 2009 nickel in rolls (Illinois) for a couple months....Nothing....nada...not a one to be found.
