I did not have this one along with some of the Presidents and Sacagawea Dollars. At the bank today, one of the tellers asked if I like dollar coins. I said sure!!! Lol! They know I like my Lincolns.

My favorite bank teller called me today and said they just got a large supply of small dollars. They got SBA, Presidents and Sacagawea. They never get halves and dollars. Strange.

I used to be able to pick up interesting coins from our Credit Union. My wife taught most of the in high school English. Most of them have retired from our CU, so it's like pulling hens teeth to get anything now. I asked the CU about getting some rolled dollars and I was told I would have to talk to the Manager or other supervisors. I got a song and dance about how much it costs them to get coins. Every once in a while, one of the tellers will pass me an IKe. Although I don't collect them, I really let them know how much I appreciate them watching out for me.

Some banks and credit unions pay by the amount of coins they order.
Others pay a set amount per year/month. I’ve asked several banks & don’t try to obtain coins from ones who pay per box. They’re my dump candidates.

Things like this happening is nice to read about. Nothing big, just people being kind to each other.

Yes that is nice. This one teller had said someone brought in some dollar coins including three Susan’s. It was nice of her to remember. Whenever I bring change in for their counter I do bring them some sweets lol.
