I received this in change today and I was wondering if this is still considered a ladder even though its out of order. I know there is a true ladder ascending and descending but would something like this be worth keeping? I know this isnt in great condition just wanted to know if I find one like this in uncirculated condition should it be kept? 200910doll.jpg

NO! Not a Ladder note. The only thing this bill has is 8 different digits were used, no two of the same number.

A ladder note must be the same digit or the next higher digit for all 8 digits, without going down a digit. A reverse ladder starts with a high digit and is the same or less through all 8 digits.

    Ex.: 234556779 That's a Ladder Note.
    977655432 That's a Reverse Ladder Note.

That's the best I can explain it.

You are correct sir. The serial numbers @Collecting Nut was referring to are "ladderish", or eBay ladders.
