Has anyone else come across anything like this? and do strike through errors occur on both sides of coins? At first I thought maybe surface damage but I looked under my scope and it's in the die
I was told this is caused by gas bubbles in the lamination. I have found quite a few while roll searching and asked about it after seeing a "sneezing Lincoln" posted on eBay. Evidently it is not considered an error and adds no value to the coin. As I said, I have found them in nearly every year cent since 1982 except for the 2010. But I am sure there will be some when I start looking through the rolls. Gary
