2008 uk 20 pence piece, undated rare royal mint error!

    i have one of the undated (totally) 20p coins that are causing quite a stir in the uk, i am looking for a valuation or estamate so i can make a good judgement on any offers a will recieve, also if anyone has an offer i would greatfully consider it.

    If you have an e-bay account you can check auctions that have ended to see winning bids. A quick look at current auctions show prices all over the place and a lot of flim-flam going on.

    My suggestion is that you should sell it on ebay before the hype dissipates entirely. Coin Dealers understand that a coin of which 300,000 examples exist (according to Royal Mint estimates) is not by any definition 'rare' and it's natural value in retail terms should be no more than about £20 when the dust has settled...
