Hello everyone. Hope everyone is doing well. I am unsure if my coin is a double die or a machine doubling. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Based on your pic I don't believe that it is MD it appears to be DDD also it looks like a Die Chip above to the right of his ear.JMO

I'm thinking MD on the date. The mint mark is different looking. Die chips?

@alice Z here's a couple of pics you can use as a reference in the future the 1st is MD (Machine Doubling) and the 2nd is DDD( die deterioration doubling).

I have a question? the number 2 looks like a 2 on top of another 2 lmao. I look at some books and they are similar to a dd? I been studying machine doubling comparing photos and still make the same mistakes. I'm going to have to look for a coin tutor. lol.

Hey @granmascoins… often these old threads are overlooked, so you would do best to begin your own thread for best visibility…… To answer your question, there are three buttons at the bottom of the message box. Click the button that says, “Upload A File”…. Once you do that, a menu will open up where you can search for and attach the photo you want to show. Good luck and welcome to the fun.
