    All 2008's are "magnetic" there is a legend that there are some "non-magnetic" but that is, as of yet, unconfirmed. (as far as I know) Thus, you would be correct. The seller in this case is relying on the P.T. Barnum effect to make him some money. (1 minute = the birth of 1 sucker)
