Hi, It could be. It is tough to be sure from the picture. But I would call it a definite maybe as I can't rule it out. At this point, I can't tell if copper plating was there and peeled off after the strike. I also can't tell if the plating was incomplete before the coin was struck. Most of all, I can't tell if the coin was damaged in some way that had an effect on the plating after the coin was struck. It has potential though. Thanks, Bill
