Hello to all! I've come across a 2008 Arizona State Quarter that I believe has an extra cactus leaf on the initials.... Any thoughts are much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Actually you do have the famous "extra leaf" Arizona quarter. Thousands of them have been sold on ebay as that. But as jallen said it's nothing more than a die chip.
correct, it is the "extra cactus leaf" and it is just a well placed die chip, this one got its fame only because the chip is over the designer initials and next to the cactus...i have found bout 6 of these in circulation so far..
All above are correct. I saved these when I started. I have them progressing from smaller, like yours, to large enough to cover the entire initials. I guess I have 10-20...somewhere anyway.
Don't know how to do a slide show on my phone, but I can get them out & photo them. I don't know if they are from the same die anyway. It would be amazing to me if the were. Like I said, I have quite a few.
